Prayer @ Gippy CU

At Gippy CU we believe that prayer is powerful. Prayer is one of the ways in which we communicate with God and we do so because he loves to hear from us! The Apostle Paul instructs the Philippian christians:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 ESV)

Because we believe that God answers prayer in many different ways we would like to pray with and for you throughout your time at uni. If there is anything in particular or in general that you would like us to be praying for at our weekly prayer meetings, then please email your prayer requests to gippycuprayers@gmail.com. This account has been set up specifically for Gippsland students. Your prayer requests will be prayed for by the CU committee and will be kept confidential unless specific permission is given. If you would like the request to remain annonymous, please state so in your email.

And you can join us in person at 1pm each Thursday of semester in the 7N student lounge for a prayer meeting.

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
