Summit 2010: Costly Discipleship

WHAT IS SUMMIT?
Summit is Christian Union's 5 day mid-year camp which proves to be a unique experience and a highlight for many of the people who attend. Apart from making new friends, catching up with old ones, sport, games, free time and the theme night, Summit is an unparalleled opportunity to study God's Word in depth.

The theme for 2010 is "Costly Discipleship". What is the Christian life meant to look like? Is it about having a happy family of three children, a steady job with a nice modest home in the eastern suburbs and a neat haircut? Is it about realising your inner potential? Is it about liberation from disease and poverty? Is it about caring for others? Is it about memorising the Westminster Confession? What is Discipleship? What is the cost? Our speaker, Dan King, will be helping us to think through these questions and more.

In addition to the main talks there are interactive discussions, small group studies, and electives, which make for one fantastic conference.

Summit 2010 is a combined event of the Monash and Deakin Christian Unions, with students
attending from Burwood, Clayton, Berwick, Caulfield, Peninsula and Gippsland campuses. It really is a great time, so make sure you're there!
